Psychiatric Evaluation

    At Mosaico Mental Health we look at the whole picture rather than just medicate for the symptoms. The first step is a psychiatric evaluation to detail all the developmental, medical, family and social history of the individual seeking treatment. Discussing your emotional distress and difficulties in everyday life can be uncomfortable, but we know that our compassionate and caring team of professionals will provide a welcoming environment and a safe space to allow this journey to be stress free. You matter, we care, we listen to all concerns and use a holistic approach to create your treatment plan.

  • Diagnosis

    Once we are able to diagnose any conditions that are affecting you or your loved one we customize a unique plan to meet your needs. This plan can include medication, psychotherapy or combination of both if we understand it will be the most effective approach in your treatment.

  • Litigations

    Our evaluations may be used as evidence in competency issues such as Worker’s Compensation cases, and assessment for Social Security Disability claims. If you have any pending litigations make sure to inform our staff when making your appointment.

Cognitive Therapy

  • Organizing and Planning

    Once we have determined your needs and your treatment plan We will guide you on this journey. You will learn effective self-help skills and techniques that you can practice at home to gain control and prevent relapses. Knowing more about yourself will give you the opportunity to achieve lasting change.

  • Reducing distractions

    Regular sessions with Dr Ruiz are needed to work on this plan, give you feedback, monitor your progress, and make adjustments as we move forward. These sessions could range from weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on your specific needs. These sessions, will empower you or your loved one and allow you to embrace a positive transformation and outlook on this journey to better yourself.

  • Reinforcement Network

    We have a network of support ready for you to ensure the best care is provided. If needed, we will refer you to other doctors or services. These doctors will work along with Dr Ruiz as part of your treatment plan.

Medication Management

  • Medication can often help you manage your condition and keep it under control. For this reason it can be recommended as part of your treatment, as it could be a valuable addition to achieve the best outcome. Some conditions are more complex conditions, prescription drugs are a required part of their overall treatment program. We carefully examine each case to determine and prescribe the proper dose and frequency of medications as well as monitor your progress and will adjust medications as needed.
